On my last attempt I rushed straight to sculpting the scales and ended up with huge scales on a smooth body giving it a toy-like appearance, this time I made sure all the muscles and big folds where there before adding the scales. And I made them small and light enough as to not obscure the wrinkles

I hope I'll be able to rely a little bit more on alpha brushes and vdm for the body, but the face flows in so many different directions: I opted for hand sculpting most of the scales.... is been "fun".
