Far from home but still managed to get some birding done :D It was cold at Lackford Lakes today, some of the water was frozen. huge numbers of bh gulls, pochard, tufted, gadwall, teal, wigeon, shoveler and shelduck. Some very camouflaged snipe, a great white egret, heron and lots of tits. #UKBirding

Motorway services are my hell. This year I finally got some loop ear plugs and I’m wearing a cap to shade the awful light in here. It’s definitely helped but it’s still way too peopley!

Molly has somehow hurt herself and can’t jump and is limping a little. I’m really hoping it’s just a sprain as she hates going to the vets so so much. Given her painkillers which has cheered her up a bit.

So dark on this solstice morning. There were a lot of redwing flying about and enjoying all the berries. Nice to see some deer by the pools. We were looking for the reported Siberian chiffchaff but it was impossible to tell for sure if it was or just a regular one. #AvonBirds #PWNR

Not only has he made the air in here impossible to breathe, he’s now sitting on my chest making it even more difficult to get air into my lungs

Laying in the dark with this one (turning on the lights for the photo felt like a thousand arrows in my brain). Molly has been shouting the house down, no idea what she wanted but she gave up and jumped on me for a cuddle.

Cats are so weird. They will happily sleep squished together this close if there is a piece of wood between them.

The sticker only started showing signs of wear a few weeks ago (so eight months of daily use and washing) but the mug hasn’t lasted much longer 😭

I've started annotating my map with accessibilty information. I know it's hard to read, I will improve that when Illustrator stops arguing with me.
