I'm also so glad to finally see someone else call out the provocateur scene in OBAA. It really rubbed me the wrong way, and I haven't seen anyone else mention it.

THANK YOU. I was already so unbelievably tired of hearing people say "that's what they want, they're waiting for an excuse to enact martial law" and just ignoring everything they've already been doing long before yesterday, and its obviously gotten so much worse in the last 24 hours.

The police don't need an excuse to use violence against a crowd. They are not playing 4D chess. They are there to control, contain, and/or disperse the crowd and will use whatever violence is necessary to accomplish those goals.

While I personally love the blend of complete spite and genuine love that it has despite a couple big flaws, I do completely understand not liking it. However, I dont know how one could possibly come to this specific critique if you watched ANY of it.

How're liking the foliage wrap? I've considered doing something similar or a burlap wrap on my own WWSD, but think it might be overkill for an intermediate caliber carbine and might snag

Went through pretty much the same exact thing. I'm very glad they managed to mobilize so many people, but the behavior of some of their wannabe cops really soured me on the whole thing

Had one of those yellow vest people come up to me yesterday and ask me and friends to take our masks off because it was suspicious. When we said we felt safer and would stay masked she then asked me to swap my keffiyeh for a normal mask because it was “too aggressive”. I didn’t obviously but wtf

Haven't played Insurgency in ages. Local voice chat was so much fun when people actually used it in both PvP and PvE(aside from the frequent edgelords that just screamed Allah ackbar" over and over).
