Had a blast watching @tmbg.bsky.social last night at the Madison in Covington. Will do my best to catch them on their next pass.
The band They Might Be Giants on a small stage. John Flansburgh on guitar is on the far left, the Tricerachops Horns (Dan Levine, Mark Pender, and Stan Harrison) are in the back, Danny Weinkoff on bass at the far right. Marty Beller on drums, John Linnell seated in the front at a keyboard, and Dan Miller in front of the horns on guitar. Whoever was in charge of the graphic design of these cooking instructions: I hate you and my old, failing eyes hate you.
Cooking instructions, written in a small, narrow font and printed in light brown ink on a slightly lighter brown background. It is almost unreadable to anyone who does not have twenty-year-old eyes with perfect vision.

Guys, does anyone else find it odd that *Russian* officials are sending ominous words of condolence about Charlie Kirk's death?

Also, "by supporting Ukraine, they're supporting murderers"? The irony is so enormous, you have to back up to see it.
Russian officials condemned the killing of Kirk and praised his support for the country. Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of Russia's Security Council and a former president, blamed "a variety of left-wing liberal scum" supportive of Ukraine for the killing of Kirk. "Who's next? Maybe it's time for the MAGA team to realize that by supporting Ukraine, they're supporting murderers," he said on X. Kirk was known for his "positive statements about Russia and calls for dialogue," Kirill Dmietriev, Russian President Vladimir Putin's envoy, wrote on Telegram. "This event is significant not only for American politics, but also for the entire world: an assassination attempt on a person who advocates for common sense and against hysteria shows the depth of the split in the United States," Dmitriev said. Alexei Pushkov, a senator in the Federation Council, said on Telegram that the killing was reminiscent of the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump, saying Kirk's death was possibly a warning to the president. "This is a clear message to all prominent figures in America public and political life who hold similar views and are not afraid to bring them to the masses. And the main addressee is probably the U.S. President. A warning to Trump?" he wrote.

There is a lot to unpack in that new Zootopia 2 trailer, but one of my favorite glimpses is what I am calling "Waffle House Judy"

I keep getting unsolicited texts like this one. There’s a 99.99% chance these are just phishing bait, for a number of reasons.
A suspicious text that allegedly describes a job opportunity. One reason it seems suspicious is that it starts out repeating “I’m Wendy from Indeed’s Human Resources team”.
