Tonight was the annual memorial for unhoused people and workers who died this year. I always go, and I'm always shocked when there are names of people I've cared for.

What a winter - warm/cold, mud/snow. Toes lost to frostbite when the weather snaps. Hypothermia when heat sources run out. Wet feet, either sweat or rain or snow.
