Build without broadcasting.

The most powerful movements don’t always make noise—they build trust, strategy, and care in quiet. Not every system needs to go public to matter.

Speaking as a white woman, with communities we research it’s so important to not just collect data and leave. We need to also immerse ourselves in those communities, benefitting them however we can. We’re not “giving voice” to people, but we’re uplifting their knowledges and learning. #literacies
Q5: What kinds of ethical and democratizing research methods can we use to learn more about arts-based civic literacies alongside the communities we serve? #literacies

I’m a Journal editor: you don’t send it to a review without information about what the LLM did. Even then, give everything a good read and do your best not to waste review resources. As a reviewer, you can send it back and ask for more information.
You are asked to peer review a chapter and find that it is labeled as written "with the assistance of ChatGPT," but the nature of that assistance is not specified.

What do you do? Real answers and wrong answers welcome.

@ragnargees.bsky.social Thank you for answering my question about the accuracy of the headline. I teach critical media literacy but can’t always catch half-truths. I am impressed with your country (and others) for standing with Ukraine.
