Grandfather, father, husband, dog lover. Boston area and Maine. Appreciate living in an educated blue state.

Restore individual rights. Fight to retain democracy. Protect the planet. Our kids and grandkids deserve that, and more.
My dog is showing his support for “No Kings” by occupying my throne. And he’s showing no interest in vacating it.

He truly is delusional. Absolutely insane.

And when I get off my recliner to do something, he jumps off the desk chair and takes my seat. The only way I can get him off is with a treat.

When I’m in my hideaway in my recliner, our dog bypasses the bed on the floor grabs the only other chair.

A lot of things and people do suck. But many people don’t. You don’t. And pets don’t.

I am sorry for your loss. Your story about him makes me think of a saying that might be appropriate:

Thank you Laura. I have recently been added to 3 Bluesky moderation lists. Pictured below. I’ll touch base with Phee.

I have two dogs in my bed with me. Does that count?

This is neither tonight nor my bed but they are tonight’s companions.

For years Trump has said tariffs are paid by the exporting country. And his cult bought it. Today, before the Supreme Court, his lawyer admitted that tariffs are paid for by Americans.

When will his cult realize and accept that he makes shit up, lies to them, and they fall for it every time?

This picture shows a girl about 9 yo with her first deer and her younger sister. Regardless of one’s view about hunting, it is indeed a way of life in much of rural America. It is why eliminating guns would be virtually impossible. Hopefully gun control will be easier. On paper anyway.

Yes. Saw this yesterday. Just another reason to do something.

Homes burned down last year, residents fighting ICE in court, families doing without because of ICE, and the game goes on.

Maybe not. But statistically it certainly was plausible.
Putting emotion aside, make a factual case as to why he lost.

Last month SC Judge Goldstein ruled that SC did not have to turn over state voter data to the fed’l government. (That decision has since been overturned). Today her house exploded. She was out but family members were home and some badly hurt.

What will it take for good people to say “enough?”

A Trump coin would be illegal, but who will stop him, or arrest him. I strongly oppose any effort to honor him in any way, let alone on currency. But if it has to be, being a two-bit president and two-bit person, a quarter seems more appropriate.

Arizona just elected a new representative. Once sworn in, she will be the final signer necessary to force a House vote to release the Epstein files.

Trump and Johnson have chosen to keep the House on vacation, just so there won’t be a vote.

Can’t imagine what in the files could be so important?

Amazon, Google, and Verizon would be very difficult for us. All the others I largely do anyway.

I cannot believe that we have reached the point that we, as a society, are finding it necessary to justify vaccines.
