If mortgage rates were 2.5% or even 3%, would you rather have a 20,30, or 50 year mortgage?

Thank you to all veterans. You deserve more than the country is giving you now.
How ironic that this was received on Veteran's Day. There must be a lot of veterans turning over in their graves or questioning why they fought so hard and gave so much for democracy. Shame on Trump, Mike Johnson, and all cult members.

And he's totally setting the stage to disregard a Supreme Court loss claiming doing so would present a "national security" threat.
Oh, so he totally stole the money

The hell he was.
Trump claims he was "being funny" when he said he's not going to heaven

Anyone in the Christmas spirit yet and want to help a teacher get books for her students? If there is anything more satisfying than helping students, it is helping Maine students. OK, I am a little biased.

Anyone who believes that the Senators who voted for the non-deal did so without Schumer’s consent while he votes no for show is gullible & naive. You either do this with a plan and exit strategy or you don’t do it at all. There is a disconnect between Dem voters & Sen leadership.

They weren't terrorists. They weren't cartel members. They had no fentanyl. And they weren't coming here.

They were transporting cocaine. To Trinidad.

Most importantly, they were human beings.

And they were murdered.

By the government of the United States of America.

Unlikely. The Senate is a staid institution, which like many organizations, runs on traditions, and its traditions value seniority. If they serve long enough, and patiently wait their turn, they too might chair something important. Once they do, they don't give it up. Which is why they are so old.

You’ll never go broke underestimating the intelligence of a Trump supporter.

Please consider helping a good person and a dedicated teacher help her students.
I teach children on the Autism spectrum. My students have a really hard time identifying and regulating emotions.

This toolkit from Slumberkins is amazing and I think it could really help us!

Saving to purchase 😊. Can you help?

Mine also started with two letters. Even better, as recently as the 1980s, local calls from my house in Maine only required the last four digits.

Another day, another dollar, and another hundred reasons to be mad at the Pedo in Chief and the fools who elected him. Fortunately, we have the numbers and the brains, and Ms. Good Trouble has put together many of them here.

A friend has called to my attention that some not so kind person has added me to a MAGA list. I guess that means that, if you can read this, you don’t subscribe to that MAGA list.

If anyone knows how to get off the list, or how to find out the list’s name, or what to do next, I’d love to know.

I have long expected a "social revolution" driven by the young who are inheriting a shitload of problems my boomer generation never had but largely created. Huge federal debt, large college and housing debt, few defined benefit pensions, weak Social Security. How can they get ahead? Change the rules

Said another way, 2/3 of his independent supporters in February still support him. Why? How could any independent, let alone more than 1 in 4, still support him?

I could accept this if the name were from a list of appropriate names for him. Such as:

Pedo Park
Pay to Play Park
Fatso Field
Fraudulent Field
Corrupt Coliseum
Dumb Dome
Double Dealing Domb
Swindler Stadium
Sod Stadium
Swine Stadium
Snake Stadium
Whiney Way
White Way

Want to know what real leadership is? This isn't it:

"While senators say they will stay in Washington and work to end the shutdown, Trump is following House speaker Johnson’s lead and getting out of town, heading to Florida for the weekend."

The tide is turning. Republican Congresspeople are beginning to get worried. Not that Americans may not have food. Not that they may not be able to afford healthcare. Rather, that we will soon see accurate reports that the Pedo in Chief is indeed a pedophile.
