Yes! The easiest way to share it is just to post this link anywhere:

Could start with something like: "A group of writers is working to fund the translation of a Zimbabwean novel into English. All money goes directly to the South African press to complete this work." ...
Support African Translation Project
African Translation Project / Need to complete funding for Shona → English translation / still needed: $2820, 44% / isiZulu translation is now funded / Kiswahili translation is currently off the table...

Speak to your inner child
the therapist says
What would you tell him now?

I replied
I wouldn't tell him anything
I'd just want to know
I hadn't let him down

Going to use #InternationalMensDay to say that if you’re feeling low & it’s deepening, please talk to your loved ones, doctor or a mental health specialist for help.
I should have but I was one of those foolish men who thought he should silently push on through anxiety & depression.
Big mistake.

Sherlock Holmes wasn't explicitly autistic, but he had the traits: tunnel vision and hyperfocus on details. Today's detective shows are taking that archetype further – with nuanced characters who are empathetic, have relationships and are played by neurodivergent actors. buff.ly/2jRsA3B
The rise of the autistic detective – why neurodivergent minds are at the heart of modern mysteries
New series such as ‘Elsbeth’ and ‘Patience’ continue a long tradition of sleuths who come across as eccentric or aloof. But now there’s a name for these minds that work differently.

Ahmed and Rula are sick from the cold. They don't have winter clothes & blankets, so keeping the kids warm costs their own health

But even Noor and Wateen will be cold soon - they need proper winter clothes, not sacrificed layers

$600 needed so all can be warm & healthy

Conrad was one of the better Who villains they had for a while; and had one of the best arcs. He romanced and kissed Ruby, he almost took down UNIT, he was invited on board the TARDIS (albeit so 15 could admonish him), he was the most famous man in the world (albeit in an alternate universe...) 1/2

Never underestimate the power of the phrase "But it's OK" used as an addendum to the saddest and most horrible personal experiences in online or real life conversations to help you feel better about things (and make it look like you are coping).

"Night of the Doctor". 12 years ago today, apparently. I was at work. Lunchtime, watching this at my desk. When Paul McGann turned up I might have let out a little astonished sob. I was nine days off getting married, I was emotionally all over the shop. Still one of my greatest Who memories, though.
