I would just like to see other characters having their moment. Their realizations. Their improvements. Not just Naruto constantly getting picked for A grade missions when he's not even a Chanin yet. Why is he being sent after the Akatsuki when he's being chased by them? It's just a bad choice imo.

I know this is a wild take. The story is literally called "Naruto." It may be a personal preference, but I'd much prefer that a story becomes enriched by the characters it has, shifting the protagonist at times. Ennies Lobby wasn't about Luffy and it's one of OP's best arcs. So, for one moment (+)

But hear me out — I love Lee, Guy, Temari, Kankuro, Gaara, all of them. But everytime an important mission is about to start, it is always around Naruto. Yeah he's the main character, but take a look at One Piece — not everything is about Luffy. We have moments where he doesn't even appear. (+)

So far in Shippuden I feel like Sakura has grown a lot more than Naruto. She may not be stronger — she hasn't got any tailed beasts or clan leverage after all — but she's become a better shinobi, stronger in many ways, and a fantastic medical shinobi.

Naruto is still driving me nuts. I like him — I do. But he's so freaking impulsive. The way he jumps right after the Akatsuki paper dude, without any plan or anything. It's reckless. He spent 2 years training with Jiraya and for what? To become stronger but still be a liability to his team?

And tbh even without engagement I might just comment because I feel like i should be heard by someone other than my bf — even if I speak into the void. So get ready, bsky, I'm about to knock your socks off with my Naruto Shippuden commentary
