Aside from Sakura, I do have a few gripes with Naruto as a whole. While I'm loving watching the anime, I feel like it has some fatal flaws. There are quite a few plot holes I've noted in the past, and generally, I feel like the side characters are just... side characters. (+)

Sakura, to me, is one of the most underappreciated and underused characters I've seen in Shonen. I feel like she has far more raw potential than Naruto — who has the nine-tailed inside of him — or Sasuke and his Sharingan. She's strong, smart, and all she needed was someone to properly train her.

Currently on episode 21 of Naruto Shippuden and here are some thoughts so far: Granny Chiyo might be one of the best Naruto characters till now. But the moment Kakashi was kind to her a few episodes ago, it felt ominous. I think I'll be crying because of her very soon 🥲

I would love to comment on a show while watching it for the first time and get feedback from others but I know I'll get discouraged down the line.

But I'd like to see if any anime/Naruto fans would like to hear my takes as I watch Shippuden for the first time! Lmk!
