I haven’t watched it either! 😀 we tried the original with my partner but won’t quite annoyed early on with how clearly people were playing it up to the camera to try to become influencers.

Challenge accepted; I’ll see if I can felt a similar cute little smooth as a baby’s bottom piece 😏

I’ve used epistemology in an actual applied research conversation with colleagues the other day and have no regrets. Words existing and having specific meaning is useful. And *especially* useful is interrogating our assumptions around research & knowledge when doing it within applied pressures

Looks like they might be much easier to park in tight spaces and so less likely to need to double park etc. in busy neighbourhoods, that's great!

No quick fixes to systemic issues have ever come with unintended consequences, as everyone knows 🙃

No adderall yet, but high caffeine sensitivity is a big part why I never have black tea and instead mostly stick to greens & oolongs. Higher l-theanine content is meant to neutralise the effect of caffeine, apparently you can also take it as a supplement although I've never tried that.

I’m in the camp of Rogue one being a let down when seen after Andor. Still a good film; but the character continuity is just not there, for obvious reasons.

No worries, I’m sure those same people now create and use personas with the ‘research’ (prompt) of ‘synthetics users’ (chat–GPT) – problem solved 😉

‘Efficiency’ (often achieved by cutting away relationality and context/ nuance in the situation, two deeply humanistic principles) is rarely (never?) good when making often life & death decisions on people’s lives (asylum, benefits etc. can very easily fit into that category)

I hope you have absolutely nothing planned for that weekend after! After the adrenaline of hectic travel recedes making space for slowing down, rest & recovery with no guilt whatsoever is as radical as it gets nowadays.

From the website it looks like everyone can attend, although I wonder if there may be self-selection bias from ‘professional’ circles that come across those kinds of events (not a criticism, just curious about those dynamics and how difficult it is to shift them in practice)

Interesting to see those conversations happening in many places. Genuinely curious: will those workshops themselves include citizens too?

Warm and fuzzy dash of hope with your breakfast, yes not bad.

I didn’t even know Christmas wine was a thing? Then again, we do get Christmas cheeses every year, so it stands to reason… :)
