My bright yellow umbrella sticks out like a sore thumb in Paris, but I love it so. A little bit of Sorrento color when we’re all wearing black from head to toe. And it’s huge, which helps in these winter downpours.

Today’s first project is replacing the clothes dryer handle. The extra broken bits I found in the door housing, and wear around the latch housing tell me this isn’t the first replacement. I hate planned obsolescence…

The movers arrive in twelve hours.
This is the biggest shift I’ve attempted in thirty years, probably our biggest ever. Tomorrow, all this and more will be loaded up and put on a boat headed to Paris.

First year of grapes on the St. Teresa (full harvest). Would have had double this, but some pest beat me to it. The concord didn’t end up with anything this year.
Future years should be bountiful. I hope whoever is here enjoys them, and the raspberries, and the peaches.
