Random Reform reps are invited onto the BBC and yet look at the state of the party. Two stories 24 hours apart and NOTHING about it in the BBC. This happens constantly
Nigel Farage's Reform UK Accused of Fabricating Evidence For Data Breach Investigation
EXCLUSIVE: Reform is accused of falsifying the evidence it provided to the Information Commissioner's Office, following allegations that it breached data rules

Well done Robertson. I was beginning to feel like Jota's passing was being conveniently brushed under the carpet when he can never be forgotten. Robertson, Mac Allister, Salah have all shown what he means to them publicly and yet the team performances have often been deemed mutually exclusive.

But obviously not this. Don't want to give any bad press on Farage in case people aren't already aware he's a racist antisemite

You don't stop vile racism by appeasing the racists.

You don't ignore the issue @tomswarbrick.bsky.social but you definitely don't appease the racists by targeting the vulnerable people and then expect the racism to go away.

A fair asylum system has safe routes so people don't have to risk their lives in boats, supported by a quick claims process.

Didn't know anything about this but definitely worth a read. All fans are probably guilty of overreacting to a ref decision. But if it goes too far there should be consequences and the authorities should always act accordingly. Without refs the matches wouldn't happen.

With respect I disagree with the gusto comment. That would make Starmer a v bad person and I just don't see it. He's a coward, he wants a second term, he thinks he can win them over. You can apply many labels, but he's not inherently bad. That's too cynical for me and I REALLY hope you are wrong

When Labour won I really wanted to them to be successful. My concern centred around it's lack of bravery especially in the face of a hostile press.

It's action on immigration is pure cowardice. I don't buy that Starmer or Mamhood want to do this - they are just afraid - and that makes it worse.

Arse. I see Mr Rodent got there before me!

One other thing. I look at the govt as scared rather than incompetent. Brexit is such a huge thing & the fear of discussing makes them seem incompetent.

I look at LFC's season too & see an enormous factor which outwardly people fear talking about which in turn makes everyone seem incompetent.

My mistake - it's the second biggest party with 23 councillors (Lib Dem 26) - but there are issues among that group similar to Kent

Starmer will only take the unpopular (wrong) decisions

But income tax by far the most efficient / quick way to raise the serious amounts of money public services need.

Wealth taxes - yes all for them - but it won't be enough anyway. Labour need to improve things fast or they'll be out.

Some are instantly collectible and should be top of the list for Labour to impose.

But not all. The wealthy will react by hiding assets offshore / fight it in courts etc. The govt/HMRC doesn't have the time or resources to go after some of the wealth.

Those it can do it definitely should though.
