The last of my sleep and dream series. This is "To Rest, and Dream No More." As usual, crow quill pen & India ink plus watercolor pencils. May we all have restful and dream-free sleep in these troubled times. This one might be my favorite of the series!

This drawing is titled "Continental Drift," a bit of whimsy and different from my usual exercises that want to connect all the elements! I like that the shapes are silently moving through space. For this one, I used both crow quill pen and India ink plus some fountain pen additions.

I created this regal sovereign (of some mysterious and fantastic realm right out of a lost fairy tale) over the past week, As always, maximum doom scrolling avoidance to the accompaniment of some music, often of the Celtic variety. She Rules. Fountain pen and colored pencil on a sketchbook page.

I painted this instead of doom scrolling a few days ago. View From Above reminds me of the maps I used to draw for archaeology a long time ago. Perhaps it's an alien landscape with rivers and lakes and an ocean. Gouache on canvas board.
