Yes I listen to audiobooks. I love reading and work 50+hours a week, not to mention kids, dogs, home, etc. Buying used books is too expensive to keep up with, and not enough shelf space for hard copies( that's just for fav's. However, I will not listen to audiobooks that are AI read. They are awful

In my time in the Senate I've never seen a Senator treated this way. @padilla.senate.gov is carrying out his constitutional responsibility to conduct oversight and defend the people he represents. Absolutely shocking and disgusting way to handle a sitting member of Congress.

Kindness does still exist. I'm having surgery Friday and they will shave a good portion of my head. My hairdresser stayed late so I could come afterwork and she'd shave and style what was left. My hair was very very long. Took her 45 minutes to cut it and she didn't charge me anything. Kindness.

Please share!!! This is getting ridiculous—they just can’t accept a loss. Please help spread the word to North Carolina. The North Carolina Court of Appeals ruled in a 2-1 decision that over 60,000 votes cast in last year’s closely contested state Supreme Court race must be verified and recounted.
