Maybe we should have a moratorium on AI development until there’s some sort of international legal framework agreed upon. Easier said than done maybe in terms of diplomacy but. It feels like one of those things we shouldn’t be fucking about with before we’re prepared.

Because he has no right to be involved in our democratic process, much less to cherry-pick half truths, spread disinfo, donate to campaigns etc. He’s also in theory about to be part of a foreign government.

It has nothing to do with having opinions. He is actively trying to influence foreign elections and undermine democratically elected governments here. He has far more influence than you or I.

In the last week musk has heavily plugged fascists in Germany and Austria, spread disinformation about elections in Romania and waded into the scandal in the UK, cherry picking and lying and blaming the new (left) gov while ignoring the fact the previous (right) gov was in power for 14 years… 🤦♂️
