As a video editor (lol RIP to my job), it’s shocking how quickly Gen AI b-roll is happening. I always avoided stock video in my edit and now it’s not even curated stock video but like “CU skateboard trucks grinding on concrete wall.” and 90% of the audience sell not even notice. I hate it.

We have the metadata technology to ensure “This video was created partially or wholly using Generative AI.” gets tagged to every video uploaded that contains generative AI.

If I paused even a stroke later for the conception of my daughter, we’d have a different kid now, if at all.
