You’re not entirely wrong re: monosynth modulars, but between subtractive analog, analog-digital hybrid, ROMpler, wavetable-wave sequencing , sampler, and FM we have many choices for polysynth. And we’re just getting started with Granular.

Today’s double homicide in DC doesn’t count because the shooter (white, male, Republican, Christian) only shot 2 people. It needs to be 4 or greater to count as a mass shooting.
