It's been years since I've attended NCA so good luck to everyone at #nca2004. That said, now that I'm older, should I call out everyone who had a sign up sheet to receive a copy of their paper that I never received😂. In fairness, I probably, maybe did that once.

Behind on Letterboxed but let me say Conclave was terrific. The last 10 minutes felt like a much needed gut punch. Having Conclave and Heretic, two films that treat people of faith honestly, out at the same time is unusual. Better these than tripe like God is Dead XII: Kevin Sorbo Needs a Job.

I totally get that people are busy but I there is a culture of administrators and aspiring administrators that very intentionally arrive late and leave early to publicly demonstrate their perceived importance, and I absolutely loathe that.

The Tyson that knocked out Michael Spinks was unstoppable. From 87 to 89, he was a god. He had the ferocity of a peak Foreman, in a smaller, more densely muscled and athletic frame. A year later, still great but on the decline. By 90, he was washed. Tyson hasn't been great for 34 years.
