Yesterday, after 10 years of work, I decided to give up trying to find a publisher for my book and just do it myself. This morning, literally 24 hours later, I got an email from a major publisher asking to share my decade long project. A much appreciated late Christmas present. 😊🙏

Alright I just had to include this, it's the moment just before the last screenshot with the punching, with the fancy thug with a bare chest, black puffy jacket, green pants and pony tail is just peacefully walking down the corridor, not noticing the floating word "PUNCH" next to him, not knowing that's exactly what's coming next. A couple of criminals loitering in the parking lot, one leaning on some railing while the other was sitting on the edge of a big garbage container but has now fallen in so his scrawny legs are just sticking out. His buddy is just crossing his arms and shaking his head in shame. A similar situation with the guy about to get punched in the corridor, but this time it's a bare chested thin man with a tiny tiny thin head, looking very disjointed and also not noticing the word "KICK" this time floating beside him. I wonder what'll happen to him. Some dude just peeing in the urinal, being blissfully unaware of the creepy McClane standing right behind him. Not this again, John!

The same parking lot as before, but this time we see a fire truck parked in the background and John with a big ho-ho-ho machinegun aiming at a big green explosive barrel with the word "DANGER" written on it, and three firemen in full yellow protective gear and gas masks comically crying, jumping and shoving each other in the chaos while trying to stop John from blowing the whole place up. McClane and Thompsen standing in a big glass hallway with the night city visible through the windows, with Kris holding a machine gun and John barely holding up a massive cannon rifle, like that "a new toy, can I play" massive explosive gun from Robocop. I think this might've been a deleted scene or something, I don't quite remember it going like this. An elevator lobby with a huge Nakatomi corporate logo on the blue carpet and John doing the Heimlich Maneuver on a man dressed as a scurvy pirate while another skinny thug is trying to throw his gun in the garbage can in front of him but unfortunately Kris noticed and is going to arrest this man. John McClane running through a labyrinthine set of office corridors, not stopping for anything, not even a smooth criminal with a ponytail, rushing quickly past him with a punch and sends him flying. Big green letters above John's head spell out the word "SUCCESS". I agree, this is what success looks like.

John goes to the john but he can't catch a break because there's a martial arts master in a yellow and purple gi holding a long metal rod in a suggestive manner and is joined by an almost fully naked man in his tighty whities who either has an unfortunate skeletal condition or is a reptilian because he looks like what if a T-Rex evolved into a human being but still had the same posture and kinda tiny hands. A Vegas-ass looking corridor with two presumably drunk ladies, one dressed in a pink shirt and pants and the other in a more revealing white outfit, boots and hat, hovering around John McClane. The woman in the white outfit has grabbed John and is currently pressing his head down her boobs and giving him a kiss while the other lady has assumed a fighting stance, possibly out of jealousy. Wow this McClane fella huh? After avoiding his female fans, McClane gets to that part of the movie where he runs into the high-tech operations room with the two pink Spiderbots armed with lasers. I love that scene! John and Kris climbing ladders in what appears to be a massive elevator shaft with lots of room to live and maybe open your own café. It seems they've been climbing for a while now since the big yellow numbers painted on the inner walls are showing floors 087, 088 and 089 just above and also because McClane is getting tired and slipped his grip with holding onto the ladders with one hand while an elevator is zooming just inches past him.

John McClane in his signature blue jacket (?) and green cargo pants (!?) running through an office corridor with his famous blonde female partner Kris Thompsen (?!?) in her cool white and red jacket and purple pants, doing whatever is they both do in that movie. John, being pissed off for having lost his blue jacket arrives at a large parking lot with some thugs loitering at the disabled parking spot, pulls out his gun and drops one of the fools on the spot. Oh wait, there are terrorists in the building? I don't think McClane's been informed of the situation yet. A closeup of the terrorist leader Wolf "White Fang" Hongo, a suave man wearing a bright purple shirt and purple necktie, sitting on a comfy office chair and talking on a walkie-talkie and ordering his henchmen to find the president's daughter. He looks remarkably like Billy Mitchell (gamer) if he was older and had a white beard and long bald man mullet, a skullet if you will. I wrote "Billy Mitchell (gamer)" because that's how Wikipedia refers to him. Billy Mitchell (asshole) might be more apt. Mr. Hongo is putting his feet up on a big presidential desk in a comfy presidential chair, talking to his subordinates over the wire while looking at a massive portrait of what I can only describe as Dr. Robotnik if he was a politician. What ol' White Fang doesn't realize is: 1. The president's daughter has been hiding in the desk cabinet this whole time. 2. She's got a very small face like a chihuahua. 3. She's just as tiny as a chihuahua.

Hey, @theburiedtruck.bsky.social, have you ever had any ideas of doing a sort of sequel to "Stepney Gets Lost" that pairs Stepney with the Ironworks twins? Possibly something that allows Stepney to get his own back after nearly getting scrapped because of them?
