A single exercise that takes <1 minute is a perfectly acceptable place to start. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise & especially don’t listen if that person telling you otherwise is trying to shame you. We don’t need that noise in our lives. I’ve got your back!

Fun can look like anything. Rolling dice for randomization, blasting music, listening to your favorite book/podcast. It’s all good! If you’re enjoying yourself you’re much more likely to want to do it again. And KEEP IT SIMPLE

This is especially true if you’re new to exercise, have a bad relationship/experiences with exercise, or just plain don’t like it. To that end, HAVING FUN as the main focus is the best path forward.

Ttrpgs are collaborative, and yes, they are role playing, but it is also connection and kindness, and giving everyone a chance to shine and work as a team and one party. The group comes first. So no matter how passionate you are about a character, the PEOPLE at the table come first (6/6)

I thought acting outside what my character would do was metagaming and I’d heard how “bad” that was and desperately wanted to avoid doing that. But that mindset ultimately misses the point. (5/6)
