#Wicked and finally, you see, Glenda chooses to align herself with regimes of oppression and patriarchy fully aware of its ultimate goals for social destruction! My body shook—angry but not surprised but ultimately recognizing Elphaba justice theology.

#Wicked For me, Glenda is the most disturbing because she represents so many people we know. Performative allyship, performative everything. Is she the new “Karen.” Yes, but much worse. She sings unity in your face but in the end she still chooses against the wellness of everyone. Sounds familiar?

#wicked is timely, sobering. The logics of other represents those on the social margins. Yet the greatest hope has always been courage of the heart against greed and betrayal—so much betrayal. Let’s not downplay those who play in our face & gaslight us, including Glenda.

Using Black Students to Criticize DEI is a Cynical and Disingenuous Tactic
Using Black students to criticize DEI is a cynical and disingenuous tactic whose primary purpose is to ultimately discredit all DEI initiatives.

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.

Dear Queer Person,
Don’t let the times gaslight you. You matter. You are unique. Breathe deeply. Google Audre Lorde. She loves you.
