I'd be surprised if something like it hasn't been tried yet, but I guess there would be all sorts of security stuff to get around, trolls, etc.

It reminds me of the "Green Book" that Black travelers used to rely on to know what places were safe to sleep, eat, etc. I wish we had something like that in the trans community.
