16. Dread. My first time playing this was when @sammiiscribbles.bsky.social ran "Horrorstör" at PaxU last year. I like having games you need to play in a physical space, so until computers can recreate the tension of Jenga, games like Dread are uniquely charming.

15. Delta Green. Offspring of CoC, and something I ran a LOT of over the past few years. So great - I'm on a hiatus from it atm, but I still love telling people, "It's about defending humanity from supernatural horrors and learning that working for the US gov't was the true horror all along."

This game is 10% dungeons and 4% dragons. They don't need your money, and they make terrible choices on the reg, but if you want to play a game, a lot of other people know this one. Once they're in, you secretly switch it out.
