I see it as the flip side of Fox, Newsmax, OAN, etc: eviscerating institutions with any interest in describing reality frees up space for plutocracy propaganda.

I was thinking this morning about whether Trump, if faced with overwhelming evidence of failure, might actually do that. Probably not, given his strong hold on unreality. He’ll just keep looking for someone else to blame. Still, he might have that one terrible moment self-recognition…
