Trouble in idiocracy
A big, beautiful bromance battle, largely on social media

The immovable object of Trump’s ego has met the unstoppable force of Musk’s arrogance
Never in history has the world seen behind the curtain at a feud between two such powerful men, only for them to be revealed as petty schoolchildren, writes Richard Hall.

Opinion piece by me.
/Despite the “eco” in its name, the corridor evidently does not involve the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, but is the responsibility of the Civil Engineering and Development Department./

Opinion | Where’s the ‘eco’ in South Lantau’s eco-recreation plan?
There seems to be a greater emphasis on building tourist infrastructure than on conservation, and little effort to dovetail with local communities.

Government is hoping a developer will work on a project involving tens of billions of dollars for an "eco-recreation corridor" on South Lantau.
My thoughts, from some months ago, here; what do you think?

Nests on grasslands in and near Mongolia/Inner Mongolia, and spends winter in Australia. Hard to see in between, as it is capable of long migratory flights, maybe directly from Australia to Mongolia in spring.

An idiot's method for calculating tariffs, by the current US idiocracy.
Like Trump, Musk and too many other dangerous cranks now in power, gormless, and even satire scriptwriters could surely not make this up.

No tariffs for Russia, but for an island with a penguin colony.

Crazy temps forecast, another sign of climate change going nuts.
As some sort of comparison: shot from Beidaihe, east of Beijing in mid-March 1985, when I first arrived with friends to do a bird survey. That's sea ice - so freezes at below 0C; and had been typical there.
