To clarify: I acknowledge that there have been airstrikes that contributed significantly to the resolution of long, drawn-out hostilities. The question I'm posing is when have airstrikes achieved quick victory without additional fighting?

When has this ever worked? When have "messaging" airstrikes ever resulted in the recipient receiving the intended message and agreeing with it?
