Because God is interested in human redemption, and our ongoing allied struggle for liberty and justice for all is for that, the Civil Rights Movement, not the well-funded, anti-woke whitelash, occupies the moral high ground where righteousness weighs more than power.

At the high rate that tyrant Trump’s secret ICE police are traumatizing American citizens and communities, we absolutely need Congress to legislate affordable healthcare; it clearly cannot stop the tyranny. #Blklivesmatter

This “woke” woman is speaking truth to power, drawing on Isabel Wilkerson’s “Caste: The Origin of Our Discontent” and the award-winning film “Caste.” These works brilliantly trace the history of the USA’s 400 year-old racial-caste hierarchy.

With regard to the Epstein files, today’s legislation puts tyrant Trump on different legal ground. I am not an attorney, but I think, going forward, his noncompliance would subject him to impeachment.

The #USSupremeCourt ruled, presidents are absolutely immune from prosecution for official acts and relatively immune for unofficial ones. So, other than fulfilling tyrant Trump’s morbid need for spectacle, why would the #DOJ try to indict former president? #BarackObama? #NAACP

My sentiment is perhaps life imitating Tony Bennett, but after living there for 13 transformative years immersed in its rich aesthetic and intellectual atmosphere, which foster creative and free thinking, I left San Francisco. Yet, after 40 years, my heart is still there. #sfchronicle #sfsu

About 32% of the eligible voters voted for tyrant Trump; 31% voted for Harris; while the majority, 37%, did not vote. This breakdown shows that, rather than a mandate, Trump is governing with only 32% of we the governed supporting his policies, practices, and programs.

We need to dispense with geographical gerrymandering systems once and for all, adopting a system of proportional representation, one based on ideological perspective. The range of perspectives would from ultra-left to ultra-right and gradations in between. People would vote for their persuasion.

Why are more commitments made than kept? Baxter (1989) explains that the motivational basis for commitment making differs from that of commitment keeping. The former is incentive-driven, while the latter is disincentive-driven. #self-directedbehavior

Implementing Project 2025, tyrant Trump, I believe, is using his executive authority to replace our society’s constitutional order, ending free and fair elections, silencing the popular voice, and installing autocratic rule. #BlackLivesMatter

Like turds that won’t flush, some of tyrant Trump’s lieutenants’ and major campaign contributors’ names keep popping up on various Epstein documents. Stay tuned as he tries to deflect the attention away from his chumship with the most notorious child sex trafficker in U.S. history. #EpsteinFiles

The “Science of Revenge” studies show that acts of revenge are rewarded along the same neural pathways as drug addiction, involving the same dopamine receptors. Apparently, revenge is more than sweet; it’s intoxicating. Those on tyrant Trump’s list ought take note! #neuropsych301 #Science

In the West African time system, a person’s life in the Sasa dimension determines the extent to which the departed person, matriculating towards the eternal Zamani dimension is well-remembered. The well-remembered soul exists in paradisical unity until the person is no longer remembered well. Cool!

Using European Americans’ cultural norms to critique African Americans’ lived experience without considering, African American’s spent 244 years in captivity, while European Americans have spent 249 years in liberty is not only methodically inapt but also immoral.

Because the end of any psychosocial intervention preexist in its means, our quest for a peaceful society must begin with nonviolence. The historical Jesus’s example indicates that forgiveness is the most difficult but best starting place to achieve lasting peace.

Reading Gibbon’s “Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire,” I find corruption and incompetence played a major role in the collapse of Roman civilization, the most dominant power in the known world. Does our failure to remember this history doom us to repeat it?

The epistemology of science encompasses the order in which the naturalization unfolds, ensuring that a fact exist in the natural world, distinguishing scientific knowledge from other forms. The present attack on science ignores its epistemology, as if science is merely illusion, like magic. #CDC

Racism is the justification of the inordinately greater access whites enjoy to prestige, power, privilege, and position relative to other racial groups. Racism argues that inherent superiority ensures white people have greater access, not political dominance.
