To record this episode, I transformed my living room into a video podcast studio. I spread all the cushions I could find on the floor, arranged various lights that I had collected from different rooms in my flat and used my suitcase as a laptop stand.

I definitely felt like a pro with this set-up 😎

What is a #browser #bookmarklet?

A bookmarklet is a tiny app that you save in your browser's bookmarks bar, without the need to install anything. When you click on the bookmark, it adds functionality on the current page. Yes, it's that simple!

No sign-up. No registration. All sessions are streamed live and publicly, and include automated live closed captions. After the event, these are replaced by manually edited closed captions.

iPhone Air with a width of only 5.6 mm looks crazy, I wonder how top heavy it’s gonna feel with this big camera plateau 🤔 #AppleEvent

And yes, for the eagle-eyed amongst you: The 'Vegetarian Carbonara Pasta' turned out to be vegetarian, even though it uses the vegan icon. 👀

🚨 And please, never use colour as the only option for conveying information and distinguishing a visual element, regardless of whether it is online or offline 🚨

How do we solve this?💡

1. Use different icons for each option.
2. Write the word instead of relying on an icon (e.g. 'vegan').
3. Use colours that are more distinguishable from each other with good contrast, in addition to text or icon variations.

3. The paper chosen to print the menu has a rough texture and a light brown colour. Combined with the dim lighting in the restaurant, it is almost impossible to understand the icons 🚫
