Final, final exam is almost done! I just have to mull over the wording of the last couple of questions to make sure I am illicitness the response I am looking for in their analysis without giving the answer away.

Day 6 #ArtAdventCalendar
Science Olympiad Scrimmage today, so a very, very long day. Ended up playing with some modes in Procreate and started this more or less by accident. Am supposed to be writing a final exam.

This one is still in progress so I will probably post it again after I have done some more work, once I figure out what I want it to do.

Day 4 #ArtAdventCalendar
I tend to make these over time while sitting in meetings that I don't want to be in. It helps me stay at least a little focused on the meeting.
Dark background with sections of nebula colors overlain with a symmetrical four part pattern of yellow, magenta, purple, blue and green curlicues and abstract flowers. The colors are neon and glowing.

Day 2 Kinda stupid, lousy day so a silly bit of artwork. No idea where I was going with this but at least I made an art, which has been hard going in the world right now. #ArtAdventCalendar

Made a basque cheesecake for Thanksgiving. Blame Great Baking Show but at least I maintained enough sanity to start with a basic one for the first time making one. Just pulled it from oven still jiggly.
Smells wonderful.

I was paying attention at the talk. See I even took notes. The most important bit is about NOT submitting rare/endangered plant species to iNauralist. He told us depressing stories about how he would find all of the seed pods cut off and stolen. Sometimes people really suck.
Random sketches of leaves, crabapple blossoms, and the trunk of a tree along with written notes that say Japanese Hemlock had insects hemlock wooly a-something HWA. ISeek iNaturalist don’t submit rare/endangered species.

I made a fish pie from scratch. For the first time. It isn’t completely authentic, no smoked haddock ‘round me so fresh haddock and fresh salmon. YUM! It turned out so well. I am afraid I am going to have to make it again for everyone.

Thought I would share another angle of the ocean bedroom. This room is apparently approximately 16' x 18' and pretty much entirely filled by that scallop shell bed. One wall is done up like ship hull with small portholes, so some of the width of the room seems to be hiding there too. Just wow.

My daughter and I were looking around at the expensive houses for sale and found a house with this room listed as a bedroom. The other rooms in the house are not all like this, but they are all special in their own way. Except one bedroom we dubbed the boring aunt's room which was white and beige.

The bed is oval with a fuzzy blue cover and the headboard is a 3-D big, thick, curved, pink scallop shell. There are stuffed critters on the bed like starfish and a teddy bear wearing a scuba mask. The carpet is wibbly blue like looking into a fish tank.

From the 1942 Webster's Modern Multi-Pictured Dictionary, the special page on Exercise. Interesting how it is all female figures, all apparently extremely flexible and long limbed. It shows increasingly strange body positions to for 'everyday' exercise.

I perpetrated dinner! Yay!
Brain was, it's just pasta, that won't be too bad.
Part way through I am melting into a puddle and wondering what the hell I was thinking.
Turned out pretty good. Need to adjust the seasoning some when I try again, when the temperature is below 80 frigging degrees.
