The revocation of both green cards and visas often references and hinges upon “would have been denied admission into the USA.” It’s an odd turn of phrase, but largely is because these laws started by assuming people must have lied or concealed facts to enter the USA to begin with.

My comment is to remind the public, the soldiers asked to implement these illegal orders, and commanders who have a moral and legal obligation to disobey illegal orders in violation of law.

As a reminder: using military bases to detain people is a violation of the Geneva convention, limits the access of the Red Cross and other agencies to oversee conditions and restricts the access to lawyers. It’s an appalling suggestion. These camps could be used to disappear people. Fuck no.

Literally the most pressing thing: Presidential orders segregating 10 trans women out of 510,000 NCAA athletes. But don’t worry - they will now refuse any trans athlete entry into the USA. Every day it’s more absurd and draconian.
