I got back into reading this year and set a goal of 15 books.

Apparently I missed reading more than I anticipated.

Someone should make an online game called Onion or Reality where you're presented with news headlines like "Art Collector with Zero Military Experience Nominated to Run the US Navy" and players have to guess if it's an Onion article or real life.

The sad thing is, this game used to be really easy.

Smart people have done everything they can to minimize the impact of natural selection for others, and this *gestures broadly* is what we get in return

I scrolled random posts with 300+ comments. Most of them had zero bot comments, some had one. The ones with a bot comment had it auto flagged as spam, at the bottom, hidden by default.

It's nice that one platform values genuine interaction over artificially inflating their metrics. #bluesky
