If I had my druthers, I think of several candidates, I'd rather have than Newsom, but if you're telling me especially for this one particular issue he's as bad as a MAGA 2028 president, you're no friend of the trans community.

Yes, but I've been reliably informed by the purity brigades that the Democrats are just as bad. See here: no Democrat as yet has yelled loud enough about it so obviously I will vote third party or sit out the election to enjoy Vance/Rubio 2028 and continue my wailing.
