Why is it always one plan over another and not both? Why can’t we have transitional housing, work training, mental health and drug treatment (that works)? Oh I know, it’s too expensive! Bullshit. It takes money to make money. Investments in people always pays off. Just like feeding children.

Proof that GOP Congress is in Trump’s underwear is that they allowed tariffs on any food product at all. And I mean any as in raw,!baked, aged or fermented. We can blame Trump for raising inflation, but congress was complicit.

Maybe if we hired educators to run a dept. of education instead of a fake wrestling promoter we could actually change our education for dullness. Maybe if we offered free medical education for doctors & nurses we’d be offering better healthcare in a decade or two. Maybe vote for smarter politicians.

Biden did not place a 107% tariff on Italian pasta. Biden did not screw American farmers who couldn’t sell their crops to China. Biden didn’t kill USAID which is killing thousands from AIDS, TB & malaria. Also, farmers raised crops that feed starving people around the world through USAID. ❤️ Biden

Um, has anyone tried emailing the 50 individual state labor departments? These people weren’t furloughed due to the republican shutdown. I’d guess by next Tuesday you’d have exact numbers. I am available to do this. It’s a very 101 Excel spreadsheet.

If there are 183,000 dead people on SNAP benefits the system is not broken. Incompetent people aren’t working with SS which gets death notifications. And stop making it sound like this is the recipients fault. Make the system better and not trash it.

Since signing Trump’s agenda bill in to law on July 4th & killing ACA tax credits the GOP has not done anything to develop their affordable healthcare plan. Develop because their only plan was to damage ACA. The only real solution they have for this year is *gasp* the one Dems suggested last week.

This proves my point that Epstein might be a headache for Trump, but a news distraction from the fact that huge numbers of Americans face higher costs everyday. You’d think air traffic controllers made enough to not need to drive Uber during the shutdown but they did & need WCK to bring food.

Judge Ellis ruled that federal agents weren’t to use tear gas for crowd control. I guess Noem didn’t pass that on to her untrained thugs.

I wish Herzog had some power to change any policy or enforce Palestinian security in the West Bank. Sadly the policy is the occupier settlements & army are all powerful. Palestinians have no rights to their own land by deed, tradition or international law. No one will sanction Israel.

Checked the rules on discharge periods and votes. Unless there’s some hidden out for Johnson the bill has to come to a vote. Yeah! Except then it has to go to the Senate where it can go to die. Or pass & die on Trump’s veto. Windsor and Maxwell are sadly the only two who’ve faced any judgment.

Senator Shasheen who said Democrats would write this, supposedly clean extension of ACA tax credits. What does she or any of the other 7 who voted for this GOP CR have to say to this? It only takes a simple majority to add antiabortion language. She’d have to filibuster her own bill.
