Two border states (AZ & TX) went red in 2024. Two (NM & CA) are reliably blue. Texas border counties typically vote blue. If the national Democratic party hadn't effectively abandoned Texas decades ago, it would be a swing state today. It's already *damn* close.

What worries me the most is how calm the officer who fired was afterwards. He calmly holstered his weapon as he walked towards the vehicle. Obviously not his first kill. Most normal humans would be shaken up by that action
