One of the hardest parts about making my dream game from scratch is that I don’t know if I should look into my own game engine so I can get what I want out of it or do the pre-existing route with unreal

While I am annoyed at the prices of Triple A games going up, the best thing that is going to happen is another even bigger indie renaissance than the one that we already have and as a dev and lover of indies I am super excited to see what comes out

Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.

So Speaker Johnson threw a tantrum today & canceled votes for the rest of the week because he couldn’t wrangle enough support to block new parents from voting in Congress. I guess when you don’t get your way, you just shut it down and send everyone home? The American people didn’t elect us to pout.

It’s a common misconception that ADHD is just an inability to focus. Really, it’s a struggle to control focus.
I can hyperfixate for hours on complex but pointless tasks and freeze on simple tasks.
Some days, my brain’s a Lamborghini with no brakes. Other days, a rusty bike with a stuck chain.

#gamedev update, I’ve taken a small break from the lore which is one of my favourite things about the world I am building for #Voyager to actually start the building blocks for the story, so far I just have the different openings story boarded depending on where you choose your character to be from

So I’m in the thick of it, writing out my characters, lore and etc for Voyager. So far I feel like I’m only at the starting line, but some progress is progress. So for that I’ll say the name of probably my favourite god in Voyager, Scaldrim, god of ocean and death #gamedev

I believe since JD Vance has such an issue with self identity we should call him by his “true” name James Donald Bowman, WHICH he had legally changed due to an abusive father. But I say fuck him, if he fucks with Gender affirming care, self identity and everything that helps trans people, screw him
