I really recommend this book from @dmavin.bsky.social. More than mapping the collapse of the major Swiss bank Credit Suisse, it shows that the bank has a horrible history of criminality abetting criminality, incompetence and deeply unethical practices. Could be defined as an Organised Crime Group.

Interesting story by Margot Patrick at WSJ about Credit Suisse's Nazi ties. This was one of the most startling episodes I came across in the research for Meltdown and deserves more attention.

Replicating TikTok’s Success Will Be Harder Than It Looks
The loss of TikTok could be YouTube and Instagram’s gain in the US, but the Chinese app has a massive head start on perfecting an algorithmic approach.

The rotten core of Credit Suisse
The tale of Credit Suisse ought to be Buddenbrooks on steroids. A staid Swiss lender enters marriage with a racy Wall Street investment bank and gives birth to a monster. Scandal follows scandal. CEOs...
