The mighty Doug Bower has now retired from Nintendo of America after being with the company for years and eventually becoming the president of Nintendo of America. Bowser said it has been "an honour" to work with the company and thanked fans for their "passion and support" of Nintendo. Here are my personal highlights of 2025.
- Visited Japan for the first time
- Worked with Martin Short on set (I was a stand-in for a day on the new Match Game)
- Started a new Animation Lookback with Blue Sky Studios and made my first Top 10 in years

Actually, that last one was probably the most progress that I've made this year, or at least more than the little growth I had with YouTube and acting. If anything, I've gotten a lot more self-love than I did when 2025 started thanks to the hard work on my mental health and regularly taking therapy.

Yes, I agree that 2025 is a dumpster fire of a year, but for me personally, while I don't have much to show with with either big social media numbers or film credits, my biggest accomplishment is becoming a better me by learning more to love myself.

I have a lot of nostalgia for the original Air Ride, so I mean it when I say this game blows it out of the water.
Beyond just being "more game", there's more visual feedback for engaging with the mechanics, which just makes the game feel so much better in EVERY mode.

Today is Doug Bowser's last day as Nintendo of America President.
He held this position 6 years, but has been part of Nintendo over 10 years.
Reggie Fils-Aimé was going to be a hard act to follow for anyone, but I think he did a good job overall.
