I’m the same way. I love spiders, they are so cool. I have a green lynx spider growing up in my backyard this summer and now all her babies are hatching. They are so stinkin cute!!
A spider sac with lots of little baby spiderlings on it. The mom is a green lynx spider who is waiting nearby to protect them. She is currently red because the leaves around her are dead and brown.

So if anyone is interested in spiders, I’ve been posting updates on this cute green lynx spider on Lemmy. I found her in late June missing 2 legs.

Now she’s a big mama with 2 egg sacs! The first set just started emerging in the last couple of days. So cute!!

Thinking about this beautiful lady today. I found her in my garden in late June, she was tiny and missing 2 legs. I watched her grow into an amazing ambush predator who caught bees, earwigs, and her mate. Absolutely stunning!

I really enjoyed watching this green lynx spider grow up 🥰

His skirt showed up about 2 weeks ago. Mr. Lion-O is about 2 years old now, so we are still figuring out his molt patterns. This is one of my favorites.

Update on cute lynx spider friend!

She shed the other day and now she’s much bigger, close to 2 inches. Her legs are getting so long too!!

Her colors are so vibrant! I love this pretty girl! 😍

Found a new garden friend yesterday!

This cute little praying mantis nymph was hiding in one of my potted citronella plants. The plant has aphids, a few tiny caterpillars (not sure of species), and at least one big fat inchworm. Hopefully, mantis friend will eat them all to get big and strong!
