Just to be sure I understand, Republicans trust teachers enough to carry guns in the classroom but don’t trust teachers enough to make teaching decisions.

A petition? That’s showing a fight. Way past petitions

it's Chuck Schumer. I urgently need you to sign my petition to protect voting rights.

Donald Trump signed an executive order to undermine free and fair elections -- and it is completely illegal.

Please, David, will you sign my petition

It’s so funny that MAGAs tell me to wake up and then complain about me being woke. I’m so confused 😂

The congressman for a nearby district tried to amend a bill in the Education and Workforce Committee requiring the Sec of Ed to follow the law. This is where we are. A law is needed to require the law be followed. Of course, all Republicans voted it down.

In the near future, textbooks will be written about Ukraine’s brilliance in this war.

Virtually every economist said Trump would be bad for the economy. Harris repeatedly pointed out anti democratic policy objectives in project 25. None of it landed. But when Trump said he’d make everything great, the gullible and cult said that made a lot of sense.

AOC earns $174K a year, has student debt, and doesn’t trade stocks. Her net worth? Less than $500K. Yet right-wingers spread lies about her wealth while backing actual millionaires in Congress. Even Trump fans admit: “AOC is one of the few not taking kickbacks.”

Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

It’s really disgusting that people stayed home and didn’t vote for Harris because Biden didn’t do nearly enough to support the Palestinians. Trump was always going to be worse on every issue including Gaza.

Trump folds again. What a friggin loser.

If Trump was really concerned about water management and building pipelines, he’d have the Army Corps of Engineers figure out how and where to capture flood waters from hurricane vulnerable areas and pipeline the water to the Colorado with cleaning stations along the way.

When Trump says free and fair trade is over, the U.S. is going to take Panama and will also end foreign aid, what opportunities open for China? Take Taiwan, get closer to nations we used to help and start openly undercutting US industries?

Trump’s tanking of the economy begins Saturday with unimaginably stupid and reckless tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China. Not only inflationary but interest rates will stay high, retaliation will ensue and the recession we avoided may again be on the horizon.

More people who entered the country illegally were deported in each Obama and Biden’s administration than Trump’s. It’s a con. Trump killed the immigration bill. Now he makes very public raids sending the real criminals into hiding. It’s harder now to get them. Trump won’t solve the real issue.

Ok sure, eggs are more expensive and inflation isn’t lowering, but at least they cut the funding for childhood cancer research, stopped monitoring Bird flu, shutdown Medicaid, stripped hungry kids of their school lunches and took hot meals away from seniors

Trump says if California just does these two things, then he’ll be the best President they’ve seen. Someone tell him that’s his friggin job. If he doesn’t want to do it, step aside.

Trump captured media attention with all his outrages and distractions. Then, at 11pm on Friday night, he laid a major plank in his corruption by firing 17 inspectors general. These were watchdogs against corruption and they’ve been fired. Decades of destroying education in this country gets us here.

Not sure what happened but I definitely recall Trump saying he would end the Russian territory grab/illegal invasion before taking office. He’ll have $4B in approved Ukraine aid to help show he’s on the side of right, not Russia.

Would this possibly put a pause on conservative complaints about EV’s or are they completely committed to going to the gas station? It’s super exciting to see the technology take leaps forward.
