The FIFA-Aramco deal is another nail in the coffin for climate change

Aramco is 1 of the biggest-polluting firms ever with no plan to transition away from fossil fuels

And yet FIFA do this

Sport, especially international sport, will always have a significant carbon footprint. The very least that sporting institutions and governing bodies can do is not take money from the fossil fuel industry that is most to blame for catastrophic climate change.

More burning of fossil fuels = more extreme weather via climate change = less football (especially at grassroots level) & more dangerous conditions for players and fans.
