When I hear “AI” I also have connotations of the mit ai lab which is different. Also things like “breadth first search” or graph walking algorithms or Markov chains or lisp macros or code generation etc
I think the issue is the LLMs model being a capital investment and incentive structure

I did ask my psychiatrist friend who works in the public system about Trump at the time in 2016 who was very lefty (like revolutionary socialist / left libertarian ) … he said that he could not give an opinion as he would not be able to assess him & anyone who does based on media is a crank

Yeah, it wasn't supposed to be like this. I appreciate this apology and I add mine.
What we were building was supposed to make a world without barriers. We assumed humans would treat no barriers as a way to become a stronger, world-wide community.

I would say people would love him but perhaps he does not know how to recieve love, like the merit of receiving, the humility - like you would know quite beautifully! When I was at lentil as anything the beauty was it gave opportunity for people to give. love often impossible in the contract world.

plan9 is beautiful, its the only OS I would think to use in a cabin in the woods

I don’t think it’s either and that’s a fairly common view and one of the weird side projects (like back boiler 10 years type thing) is “one day will be able to put this straight in the language of an analysis article” until then it’s handwavy handwaves and citations of odd ball stuff from east hehe
