Unaffordability. Unemployment. Job Losses. Human Rights Violations. Precarity. Homelessness.
Ontario can't afford mass evictions!

Friends, we know it is time to push back on Bill 60 and we need everyone to take this on, including cities across Ontario.

So, what are we seeing in the first Carney Budget on housing accessibility? Not much! Only mention: the Housing Accessibility Tax Credit (that mostly benefits wealthier folks, as the government notes).

So, there is a lot to go through in the 2025 Federal (austerity) Budget, but we know that members of the community want to know what are we seeing in the first Carney Budget re: the Canada Disability Benefit.
- Canada Disability Benefit is not going to⬆, but won’t be cut.

But it is not even close. Read on about what is actually in Bill 60 for us to still beat back.

Tenants across Ontario have already won a first victory against the government’s anti-renter agenda, but we can’t stop until we #StopBill60. this isn’t over until the whole bill is completely defeated!
