The Xawskil expansion map for The Guild of Merchant Explorers is hard! Played a couple of games tonight for Solotober. Lost the first after failing to complete one of the missions and then barely pulled out a win on easy difficulty.

Haven't been posting my Solotober games this year, but I've played at least one game each day so far. Today I played my first solo play of Glass Road, many years after my first & only multiplayer game. Such a satisfying puzzle, scored 24 points after getting lucky with double forest end game tiles.

First month this year where I didn't reach 100 plays, but still played quite a bit. Solotober starts today so I expect a return to 100+ plays this month.

Had the least number of plays in a month so far this year, but it was still over 100. Not sure if the streak will continue through the end of the year, but it's been the best year of gaming yet.

Last month I broke my total plays for all of last year. Now I'm over 1150 total plays for the year already. BGA continues to fuel the vast majority of them, but there's still a handful of in person plays each month.

Nobody else showed up for our game meetup tonight, so I played a couple of games of Verdant while I waited. The solo variant conveyor belt mechanic that clears the rightmost column adds some interesting decisions.

Set my personal best score of 90 points in Verdant on BGA. It's a great addition to their library and it's inspired me to bring my copy to our game meetup this week.
