The Lost Vikings is an absolute hidden gem that was one of the first puzzle solving games. Now I want to bust out my SNES and play it again.

A trip with the kids to Disney, a decent amount of board gaming, and a new Ryan Murphy TV show.

Had a game day with the kids (12, 10, & 8) and we played 7 games. Go Nuts for Donuts and Tiny Towns were the only games that weren't new to them.

January was a pretty solid month of gaming. After last year's average of 156 plays per month, 66 feels paltry but I know it's still a lot.

With Castle Combo joining the 100 plays club, I'm now at 29/100 for my 100 Games 100 Plays project.

2025 was my most successful year of gaming by far. I don't think I can/want to keep up this pace but I had an amazing time over the last 12 months. Here's to another great year of gaming!

I've pledged to play Hadrian's Wall 12 times as a part of the Deep Dive December solo challenge. I received a copy last Christmas and this was my first time ever playing. I'm thoroughly impressed and looking forward to the next 11 plays.

November had over 160 plays after I found Flip 7 and Castle Combo on BGA. While I think they're both enjoyable, it's also possible that Castle Combo might be my new favorite filler game.

The Xawskil expansion map for The Guild of Merchant Explorers is hard! Played a couple of games tonight for Solotober. Lost the first after failing to complete one of the missions and then barely pulled out a win on easy difficulty.

Haven't been posting my Solotober games this year, but I've played at least one game each day so far. Today I played my first solo play of Glass Road, many years after my first & only multiplayer game. Such a satisfying puzzle, scored 24 points after getting lucky with double forest end game tiles.
