Fight back. Join staff from Neighborhood House and I at 2pm today at the Multnomah Arts Center to build connection and support and uplift the incredible work being done in our community.
Let’s build community together with Neighborhood House and keep our neighbors fed. Sunday 11/9, 2-4pm, Multnomah Arts Center. The following Sunday (same time and place) we’ll be learning how to protect our immigrant neighbors. Strategize. Organize. Mobilize.
And yes, there will be snacks.

A second TRO has been granted barring ANY federalized NG from coming into Oregon— unless conditions change. This is a monumental ruling in so many ways— and sets the stage for what comes next. Ie: if Trump obeys the rule of law and the courts.

Transportation Update thread: As my punny colleague Rep Nosse… “sometimes the road is messy.” No one wants to have to pass a tax vote, but that’s the work of governing, keeping our roads usable and our families safe. To do that in the most accountable and thoughtful way possible is the goal. (1/5)
