Media is partly to blame, but fans thinking this £100m is just for transfers seem to ignore the club's finances and how things operate. It’s really just to improve cash flow and avoid borrowing; it’s not going to be spent on two £50m players like that.

In a time when DEI is under attack as being a bad thing, we need reminders that making people “included” is a good thing. It warmed my heart seeing this.

Spurs fans seem to fall into two groups right now: one focuses on stats and expects a polished style, while the other sees it as a work in progress, prioritizing results over xG. Both views are valid. #COYS

I get the disappointment in the game; we need to improve. I get the call to play the stronger players; however, if we don't rotate and rest players and play the same 8-9 players twice a week, I think we are increasing the risk of a longer-term injury crisis.

Definitely a lot of work; is the ask too big for Frank? We are going to hit a rough patch soon, and we might get the answer to that sooner than maybe we'd like.
Watching Spurs at the moment I just think: they're trying to bring in (another) new style of play with (another) patchy half-fit squad. It's a big ask and will require a lot of work. I don't think it's going to be pretty any time soon.

I think we were solid in the first half; the second half was pretty poor, and we didn't adjust at all to Wolves' changing formation. Feeling frustrated, but credit for fighting until the end; it felt like a loss was coming, so a point, while not ideal, is better than nothing.

I'm not sure we should be getting excited about a guy who made an offer for a Formula E team but couldn't follow through on the obligation to complete the purchase.

Now that the dust has settled, we get the details. I think it was time to remove Levy as the central focus for everything, allowing the team to concentrate on their specific areas. It will be interesting to see what the new vision will be.
Tottenham Hotspur adjusting to life after Daniel Levy.

My piece on a historic month for the club.

As it's the Sun and Lipton is the Jurno, I personally would not take all that is reported as fact. The UK Takeover Code states that the club has to make an announcement. If there is truth to this, I would wait and see.
Thats quite the development. Bid to buy Spurs for 4.5bn including player investment budget being reported by Martin Lipton of The Sun newspaper

I support and send love to Jess Naz. Cowards who hide behind a phone screen need to face consequences.
Racism has no place in football or in society. We stand in full support of Jess Naz following the horrific abuse she received on social media, and no player should ever be subjected to such hatred.

Seeing some debate about whether the defence is better this season than last. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter because you cannot go back in time to change the past. This is Frank’s team now, and all that matters is what he does going forward, not if a data point in the past is correct.

We definitely found ourselves digging out of a hole we built, especially with the second goal that was the negative, but I appreciate the perseverance to earn the point. Still a work in progress, but I see signs of improvement. #coys

This is an example of the Anecdotal Fallacy. It's similar to someone saying, “People were racist toward my dad and he just accepted it, so others should do the same.” We need to strive for a better society and show more compassion for others.
Maresca on the mental health concern for Sterling and Disasi "My father is 75 years old and for 50 years he has been a fisherman, working from 2am until 10am. This is hard in life, not a player, the way they work. I know that the club is giving them the opportunity to work in the right way."

At the end of last season, we had defensive issues, but it's clear those are being addressed this season. However, creativity remains a challenge, and resolving it may take time. Concerns are understandable. Rome wasn't built in a day #coys

Football agents and agencies should adhere to a code of conduct and regulations, and each agent must publicly disclose their fees.

Levy managed both finance and football. Splitting the roles allows one team to focus on revenue while another focuses on football. This seems like the right move to me. I don't expect record-breaking transfers, but being better alligned with the manager & better transfer business should come.

When this came out, most fans, like myself, focused on the Levy’s words. Now that we know Levy is gone, watch this again and pay close attention to what Vinai says with a new perspective.

Tottenham’s window felt like a match. They started strong with an early signings, 1-0, and should have been up 2-0, but a controversial penalty made it 1-1 (MGW). Let in an own goal in the second half, wasting time at the back, 1-2 (Eze). They salvaged a draw with late signings to make it 2-2.

Good review of the window; there were both bad and good aspects.

West Ham appears to have organized their defence effectively today and capitalized on a fatigued Nottingham Forest team, leading 3-0. Frank should pay attention to this game, as he will need to prepare us to break down a tough defence, as they will set up the same when we face them.

know we were linked, looks like he was Bayern-bound.
Bayern Munich have made an approach to sign attacker Ademola Lookman from Atalanta.

The proposal for the 27-year-old is a loan, including a sizable fee, with an option to buy at a substantial price.

Our midfield struggled today and lacked momentum. Frank has work to do during the international break. West Ham may have a new manager with players looking to impress, and will look to neutralize Kudus, as we saw today. This can be fixed, but we need a bounce-back performance right away.

We are being used as a negotiation tool. As soon as we bid €65m, Chelsea will match and he will go there as he agreed last month.
Xavi Simons is in London as he hopes to finalise a Premier League move.

Spurs in talks and considering a bid. Simons has wanted Chelsea all summer, and terms are in place.

Both clubs active, with Leipzig hoping for €65m+.🇳🇱
