Devin has a rare disease called Barth syndrome, which caused dilated cardiomyopathy at birth and a life-saving heart transplant at 9 weeks old. Now 20 years old, Devin’s transplanted heart is failing, and he is currently inpatient awaiting another heart.
After 89 days in the hospital, Devin is finally heading home! Admitted Dec 6 with heart failure, 20 years after his first transplant, he received a new heart on Feb 14. Just 18 days later, he’s rolling out of Michigan Medicine. Thank you for all the love and support! #DevinsLeague #Superheroes
