dragon age helped me feel so seen not just in bipoc inclusion but queer/trans rep in fantasy too. i know it's not perfect, but y'all i was a sheltered queer brown kid who sought out fantasy worlds as a means of escapism. it means everything to be able to carve a space for yourself in what you love.

inquisition will always have a special place in my heart bc it was the first #fantasy game i'd played that featured #elves with a variety of skintones and facial features. it took playing that game for me to realize that there is space for poc like me in fantasy. i'll never forget it.

i love that #adhd thing where it takes you an agonizingly long time to get to a task that ends up taking a mere 10 mins to complete :)))) the real kicker: all u get is a short window of mild relief before everything feels too much again!!!!

I noticed how proud I am and how satisfying it feels to have your art physically in your hands. So from time to time I will print some of my pieces and look at them. It changes my relationship to my art for the better.
